Call for Speakers!
AOEP is excited to announce that we are planning our first in-person event in Fall 2022 (October-November, TBD). It has been over 2 years since we have been able to come together in this way, and we are so excited! This event will be structured differently and we are seeking guest speakers within our industry and community to share expertise and experience.
We are opening the opportunity up for all to express interest in this speaking engagement from May 1, 2022-May 31, 2022. If you are a subject matter expert in the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition fields, have an approach to developing the workforce that is unique, see trends that will impact our industry in the future, have a topic you are passionate about, or support the growth of the workforce through recruiting and talent acquisition……we want to hear from YOU.
The location is planned to be in the Middlesex part of MA, with an opportunity to network and there is an opportunity for you to be a guest speaker, nominate someone, attend, sponsor the event, or do all of the above! This is a chance to be one of the supporters and advocates for a much-needed event. This conference will enrich lives personally and professionally. It will highlight and promote businesses, creativity and approaches that we must be sharing within our professional communities!
Follow the link below to either submit yourself as a potential speaker, or nominate someone you would like to hear from. Please fill this out with your information or any of the exciting Massachusetts (or within driving distance!) leaders in the HR/TA spaces that you would like to nominate.
One important note: while we are excited to hold in-person events once more, AOEP’s funding was impacted by the pandemic and this has contributed to our inability to hold the large-scale events for which we are known. As a non-profit, this is how we build our funding. Unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to provide monetary compensation to guest speakers. We recognize the volume of this ask, especially as we were not the only organization to struggle during the pandemic. We are open to finding other ways to compensate guest speakers for a donation of available time that is meaningful on an individual basis. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
