The Association of Employment Professionals is pleased to announce the sign-up period for the EPA's annual list of New England's Best Workplaces for CommutersSM and invites you to join this prestigious list of local employers committed to improving the quality of life for New England commuters.
New England's Best Workplaces for Commuters list - much like FORTUNE magazine's 100 Best Companies to Work For - highlights workplaces offering outstanding commuter benefits, such as transit passes, vanpool subsidies, telework programs, bike facilities, and carpool services. Employers on this list may use the Best Workplaces for Commuters name and logo on web sites, storefronts, brochures, annual reports and other materials.
AOEP has joined with other New England organizations to endorse this campaign. Our coalition will update and promote the list throughout the region to the media, the public, and the business community annually, beginning in 2003. Our coalition publicly announced the first annual list of New England's Best Workplaces for Commuters in November, 2003.
Being one of New England's Best Workplaces for Commuters will do more than improve your company's image. Dozens of business leaders cite that commuter benefits improve worker productivity, job satisfaction, recruiting, and employee retention. They also report significant reductions in taxes, parking shortages, parking expenses, and employee transportation costs.
