Glenn Gutmacher, a leading trainer of recruiters at hundreds of New England employers and placement firms, will go online to show hands-on the techniques and methods used by top sourcers worldwide to identify high quality candidates of any skillset, in any location, via the Internet. You'll learn the methods and see some of the best-in-class tools in action to make the Internet more productive for recruiting.
Glenn Gutmacher is renowned in this field. Developed in 1997 and updated continuously since, his course was the world's first complete sourcing training available either live or over the Web. He has trained recruiters at companies ranging from Fortune 500 firms American Express and CNF, Inc., to small staffing agencies. In 1996, he founded the newspaper industry's first regional career portal for Community Newspaper Company in Massachusetts, since acquired by the Boston Herald. In 2000, Glenn developed the prototype of an innovative online career tool bought by leading outplacement firm Lee Hecht Harrison, since integrated into their ExecuPlanet.com service. Gutmacher was named official Internet recruiting certification instructor for NEHRA in 2000, for advertisers of New England career site Jobfind.com in 2001, and for BostonWorks.com in 2002. He now works primarily for EMS member Getronics as a recruiting trainer and sourcer, and to restrategize its corporate career website. He is a graduate of Yale University.
